Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the pharmacy owner who creates the account, and everyone you give access to) and MediInventory, founded by Imam Hussain. By creating an account or using MediInventory you agree to these terms and to our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
1. The service
MediInventory is online software for pharmacies in India. It covers GST billing and invoices, medicines and barcodes, stock with batch and expiry tracking, receiving, suppliers, returns, alerts, rack locations, staff logins and, on Pro, additional tools listed on our pricing page. Features may be improved or changed over time.
2. Accounts and security
- You must give accurate details (business name, your name, email and mobile number) and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and your staff logins. Keep passwords private.
- Each pharmacy can be signed in on a limited number of devices (Basic: 1, Pro: up to 3). Staff logins are also limited (Basic: 1, Pro: up to 5).
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Free trial, plans and payment
- New pharmacies get a 3-day free trial with all Pro features after verifying their email.
- Paid plans are Basic or Pro, for 1 or 2 years. Current prices, discounts and limited-time deals are shown on our website and in the app. The price shown when you start a payment is the price charged.
- Payment is made in advance through Razorpay or by bank/UPI transfer confirmed by us. Prices are in Indian Rupees.
- Plans do not renew automatically and we never debit your account without you starting a payment.
- Upgrading from Basic to Pro charges only the difference for the time left; your end date stays the same. Basic cannot be bought while a Pro plan is still active.
4. No refunds or cancellations
Please use the free trial to check that MediInventory suits you. Once a plan is paid it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled by you. It stays active until its end date. In exceptional cases, such as a duplicate or mistaken charge, MediInventory may refund a payment at its own discretion; the plan bought with that payment is then cancelled and the account becomes read-only.
Before paying you must accept these terms and our Privacy & Cookie Policy. We record the version you accepted and the time with your payment.
5. When a plan ends
After the trial or a paid plan ends, your account becomes read-only: you can view your data but cannot create bills or make changes until you buy a plan. We do not delete your data because a plan has ended.
6. Your data
- All medicines, stock, sales, purchases, customers and other records you enter belong to you.
- Each pharmacy's data is kept separate from every other customer's. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including prices, GST rates, HSN codes and batch details.
7. Your responsibilities as a pharmacy
- You remain responsible for complying with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, pharmacy regulations, GST law and any other law that applies to your business.
- MediInventory is a record-keeping and billing tool. It does not give medical advice.
- "Find by composition" and "Alternatives" are reference lists only. Any substitution of a prescribed medicine is the pharmacist's decision, made with the prescriber's or patient's consent where required.
- Prescription-only (Schedule H, H1, X) medicines must be dispensed only against a valid prescription.
- Please confirm GST rates and invoice requirements with your chartered accountant.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other customers' data, break security, overload the system, resell access, or use MediInventory for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do so.
9. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep MediInventory available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in the app in advance; during maintenance you can view data but changes may be paused.
10. Limitation of liability
MediInventory is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or decisions made using the software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan period in which the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be shown in the app. Continuing to use MediInventory after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
